For about 20 years, we have done a GAP Assessment where students are surveying the communication (by extension, then, the bank’s culture). It’s a look at the communication culture of the entire bank from multiple different angles and perspectives. It’s always a fascinating look at banks to see where these gaps exist.
And that’s what led us to this. Over these nearly 20 years, we’ve had great insights into a good sample of community banks’ cultures. We thought it was a good idea to share what we’re seeing from this perspective with you all in hopes that you’ll find some benefit.
