I’ve long been a believer of “stakeholder theory” in corporate management…including banks.  Jeff Marsico’s book Squared Away is an excellent look at stakeholder theory and how it impacts banks.  However, it’s not just that.  Jeff breaks down banking into several components and asks (and answers) tough questions.  Corporate culture…capital levels…who should care about products and marketing…board composition…all of these and more are covered in this book with excerpts from Jeff’s blog found here.

If you’re interested in banking and all of its aspects, this is definitely a book I would add. –Byron
